Guys what do i do?

Any suggestions? I have 10k shares and i bought them at 0.86. I am scared of loosing more money. Should i sell? Or wait?

Here's my advice. If you're scared into investing into this company then sell, its really that simple. You should really be able to sleep well at night with your investment whether its 10,000 shares or 1m shares But ask yourself this question - if you had enough money to buy this company at 86c or 74c would you buy it with the debt levels it has or invest in another company that will ...more

A ten per-cent loss is maximum in my book. You maybe should have sold when it dipped below .80 .If oil goes back up so will this stock i.m.o. So it comes down to where you think oil is going. Good luck,we all need it with this oil glut.

Goldenegg: Pray tell what other company. If it is that safe & sound the sp will be quite substantially higher. That's why this is a poor man's stock. My avg. is a lot higher than .86 & I'm still buying. "The mistake is giving advice out about something you know very little about - goldenegg."

heck I have 30,000 shares at @5.25 average and wish I was in your shoes. Hang in there as when oil turns higher this company will fly.

Sell your shares, thereby turning your fears into reality, and put the proceeds into a bank account. Then kill yourself.

Don't you think that comment is a little harsh. I used to have respect for you but now I am not so sure.

fahad92, you are going to get opinions to hold and sell. I am going to give the same opinion as one other gave. If you are not comfortable with losing money on stocks, you should not be investing in stocks....period. Has nothing to do with Long Run. If and when I put some money into this company, it will be an amount that I will be comfortable with losing it ALL as a possibility, in the hopes of ...more

aaaaaargh Wow I never thought of putting my money and say who cares if I lose it all. I always thought that advice was for people who go to the casino . Good stuff.

you've been here forever and have been wrong.  and you have a finance degree? here's an advice, reinvest in educating yourself.
Comment by hallgg on Mar 16, 2015 1:29am
This is not advice but everybody slams about selling at a loss. Then they give you great advice like sell and then kill yourself.. Great advice guys. If you had a STOP LOSS in place at .83 or .82 that is only a $300-400 loss big deal. Now look how much you are down. $1300 minus your stop loss you could of bought 1300 more shares for that grand. What ever happen to the advice where you take the ...more

fahad92 You should probably get out of the stock market until you have educated yourself more on how it works. Even if you are a fundamental buy and hold investor you should also know all about trading on technicals. It gives you a better understanding of what the trading crowd is doing and a better overall understanding of the market. The most important thing to learn whether you are a ...more

hallgg: Guarantee my order will be filled at this bottom price like .50 & I will wait 'til then to buy. If only it were that easy. Once again; you are not an investor.
Comment by hallgg on Mar 16, 2015 2:14am
What, is that suppose to hurt me because I have no money in this yet? You sound like a kid in a elementary school.

I'm an investor - I invested short in LRE and took your money. That's investing. covered 1/4 this morning  Thx and cheerio.

Goldenegg: You are getting rediculous. You took no money from me. Just out of curiosity - do you really know whtat the term "short" means. For comparison I used Baytex;  a stock darling to Lre ( a working man's stock). Share offerings of 17.35 for 37 mil dilution - I said 15.00 max. & falling. Look at Baytex today down to 16.86. This can easily change but that is the way ...more

people here have loss more than their money also their basic common sense, they say they're investing but investing is you actually do homework and study the company - that's what investors do but people here are just gambling.  these people don't understand or can't read a balance sheet, they pretend they do some guy here says he's got a degree in finance which is ...more
