Think the Saudi and USA want Russia in the middle east or Crimia. lower Oil hearts Russia more than any country. If it is a 12 month or 18 month it will efect Russia more than any one. USA and Canada have some lay off in the oil patch for short term gain

Where do you idiots come from? Russia is getting about 100 more rubles per barrel today with brent at US$55, than it did when brent was trading at $100US mid last year.

he may be getting 100 more rubles more for oil today at 55 than at 100 but the country is a net importer of goods. how much is a sack of potatoes from spain costs russians today than last year.  stop opening your mouth off, you're the idiot - why do you think he had to raise interest rates so he can stop the bleeding of the ruble.

Of course the drop in oil price is very bad for Russia idem for the ruble... By the way, LRE was not able to sell some asset in October when the WTI was at $80... I'm not expecting LRE to be able to cash $100M by selling non strategic assets. If it is not good for LRE, it will be not good for another oil company.
