The price performance of LRE is beyond pathetic

I have owned this stock as Galleon , Guide and now Long Run . I guess I have now lost about 90 % of my original investment . I haven't seen one guest on BNN who thinks the management of this company is doing a good job . It's hard to believe that they are getting paid for such a lousy stock market performance . I don't accept the drop in the price of oil as a legitimate excuse . Other oil and gas companies are doing OK . Check out Nuvista Energy as an example . Am I the only shareholder who thinks the management of this company has done a terrible job ?

No forkliftguy, you aren't. When Sprott exitted this stock we all should have as well. Sprott are a bunch of crooks, but at least they provided a warning for us all. They clearly were not happy with where management was taking this compnay. sprott likes take-overs. Simple fact of the matter is, management has failed, and needs to let someone else take the helm. I too have owned it since the ...more

Shlinker you are clown & a bser. "Can't sell!" What a joke. For all you new investors; if a stock isn't performing the way you would like it to & you cannot see light at the end of the tunnel - do not buy down. Sell & move on. If you are buying down to try & break even you are throwning money into a sink hole that you can never get out. Sell & buy a stock that ...more

Reflect: Shlinker is not a clown and he is not a bser. He has owned trhis stock for a long time and has seen its value drop BIG time. So have I. He is not trying to get you unload but is very frustrated. We both know that LRE is very undervalued and wish to see the stock at higher level. I do believe that we will recover. We have great low cost, predictable assets. The problem is that the ...more

CEO Andrew has been with Guide since 2011 & now LRE so there has been lots of time to analyze his mgt. style & lots of opportunity to sell LRE at a high sp (or could it be the dividend some enjoy so much). Miller also was with Guide & so I fail to see the logic of your argument. Why did you & he not sell a long time ago but now vertebrate your dissatisfaction which I can only see ...more

Reflect, not sure what Shlinker said because I have him on ignore from the Petroamerica board. As such, I believe him to be a very bitter bad investor or a paid basher. Since both LRE and Petroamerica are potential buyout targets, it stands to reason he is just a paid lackey of a hedge fund. Nothing he says should be taken as serious, IMO.  T

Forkliftguy it begs the question - you bash LRE mgt. but now tell us why you stuck through with this stock from Galleon, Guide & Long Run. I can only comprehend that either you are a fool or cannot understand the stock market & should get out. Why didn't you sell & get out a long time ago. Tell us why you bought Galleon & Guide & then LRE and why you did not sell LRE a ...more
