01:10 PM EDT, 05/08/2015 (MT Newswires) -- Long Run Exploration (LRE.TO) gave back 2% in recent Friday trading, having been downgraded to reduce and issued a lower target price of $0.50 by TD Securities.

Previously, TD Securities had a hold investment recommendation on the oil and gas explorer, with its target price at $0.65.

LRE trades slightly above the lower end of 52-week range $0.66 - $6.09.

Oil & NG prices have increased; LRE mgt. has cut the dividend & reduced spending - & TD Securities lowers their rating; what a joke.   I said it before & I’ll say it again; the people at TD Securities will even eat your snot & say it taste good if they can make a dollar.  They are lowest of the low. They have no play in LRE yet are there constantly to bash it in order

I was talking to a friend of mine in Toronto who works for Sun life Financial and he said there is no reason for this to be down exept for the bashing from some institutions. They actually have had it on there radar for a while as" good potential". He feels good about this stock. What else can I tell you. You judge for yourself.

Rivermoney you are right on. The snot eaters at TD securities have no play in LRE & so want to manipulate the share price. What they are doing is illegal & in the US TD has been fined numerous times but in Canada, the SEC & TSX  have no male parts & TD can shaft the small investor with impunity. I did not want to mention manipulation. But that is exactly what he said. But things will change. They can only go so far. THEN watch it. He said it should be at least near 2 dollars. Every company has issues with depth and other things but that's just part of the game. With ng and oil going up slowly there will be no problem for LRE.
