is it possible that the banks who lended lre the money are

facing insolvancy themselves so they are in turn putting the screws to lre?

No one knows for sure what the banks would do when these dates arrive. Banks don't want the hassle of forcing  a company into liquidation. They set some guidelines hoping the companies would start getting their balance sheets in order. If the companies don't do anything proactive and oil prices remain down, yeah, the bank will do something. But, if the companies make a good faith ...more

The kicker is; the analysis’s were all degrading & saying LRE was worth nothing. They kept up this charade & continued the manipulation that LRE would go bankrupt & shareholders would get nothing. LRE’s market cap plummet to 47 mil which now goes to prove as I said all along – market cap is a manipulated figure.  Again, LRE reneged on the second deal, not MIE. MIE even made good ...more

Further, to add to the illegality of this so called deal & I hope those who are learned in law can clarify because many of the shenanigans which took place & are taking place in this agreement scream foul & insider trading. From the fact the MIE deal was announced squashed prior to the opening of the TSX; the fact that the bona-fide deal with MIE was reneged by on to give consent to ...more

Welcome to the TSE and its blind and toothless enforcement. I know people who refuse to invest in Canadian stocks because of the shenanigans that go one. No one has ever been convicted of insider trading, yet it is so obvious to see price run-ups or declines prior to announcements.
