Is Sinoenergy Pacific the acquirerer

windwalker4 and techn9ne already pointed out on Dec 21 based on news articles that if there is an offer then it may be Sinoenergy Pacific that is the acquirer of LRE, as they acquired New Star Energy just last year. Three people currently in New Star Enery executive team are ex-Galleon people including the founder and thus maybe, just maybe they want their "baby" back (LRE=Galleon+Westfire)...
Reading how Sinoenergy Pacific acquired New Star Energy in 2015, it is eerie similar to how LRE is being acquired. Caution is that there was a hickup between Sinoenergy Pacific and New Star Energy but in the end the transaction closed...
With the recent Paris agreements on global warming, Chinese must be getting keener on getting their hands on some cleaner sources of energy than coal and thus they may be after LRE and other gas producers
I think this deal closes unless the recent market turmoil in China and NA starve Sinoenergy Pacific of the needed $$$ for LRE
Hold on tight ladies and gents...we should know soon one way or the other...boom or bust

Yes BlueCollar51: we small investors should be thankful to get a pittance of our investment back & praise be that the criminals should not be prosecuted. I must be one ungrateful so & so to wish that the criminals of LRE be held accountable for insider trading, improprieties, shady dealings etc. & demand that they be investigated & prosecuted. LRE CEO Andrew & the LRE BoD are ...more

BlueCollar51: Before you twist & distort what I say here is the legal & proprietary way the deal should have went:   LRE mgt. should have sent out the circular & the scheduled vote to take place. If this other deal from the Communists of Red China was credible & sincere, these people should have made known their deal to the stakeholders including the small investors of LRE who ...more
