Interesting news.  this drama will now play out for at least another week before we know if they are onside with the banks or not.

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Jan. 25, 2016) - Long Run Exploration Ltd. ("Long Run" or the "Company") (TSX:LRE) announces that it has entered into an extension to the interim forbearance and amending agreement to its credit agreement with its lending syndicate (the "Lenders"). The extension of the forbearance relief from January 22, 2016 to January 29, 2016 ...more

Then why did lenders not make it absolutely clear in no uncertain terms that the second deal with MIE be followed through after they ammended the credit facilities. Instead they chose to support this hogwash of bs of no deal which I stated over & over again with these unamamed purchasers & unnammed certain shareholders. Go back to school BlueCollar51 & learn how to read: " ...more

There was no deal with the secret unnamed Communist group of purchasers from Red China (just a hogwash of a proposal) & yet the “Lenders” gave credence to this garbage & allowed LRE to illegally cancel the bona-fide deal with MIE without LRE shareholders approval. This is a Conspiracy: Secret meetings, unnamed certain shareholders, unnamed purchasers, filings of misinformation & ...more

Nobody cares to investigate another loser hanging by a hail mary deal with Chinese interests. The Chinese interests will keep squeezing until there is nothing left to squeeze. Get out before the sp goes from $0.33 to $0.03.

Chinese arent buying LRE. Arc Resources is.

How do you Know?.
Comment by Reflect on Jan 25, 2016 3:54pm
Wow! Things sure change Shlinker – where did this come from. It really makes no difference; everybody accepts that LRE can lie all they want & file false & misleading information with SEDAR & it is all perfectly legal. Why even BlueCollar51 posts this garbage that LRE files with SEDAR & says it is truth. SEDAR is nothing but a haven for liars & has no credibility. The Lenders ...more

Well really i dont know. But it sure makes you wonder why they wouldnt.buy the assets, as they all border each other, and ARC has the cash. The markets are a scam, like the company.

Roscoe74: If the dealings of LRE mgt. are not dealt with in a court of law it will be a terrible blow for all small investors. The crimes LRE mgt. have committed are so blatant & disrespectful of the law that for it not be challenged gives all these management agents “carte blanche” control over shareholders & the companies the shareholders invest in. There must be a “court challenge,” for ...more

The MIE deal first was for 200 million then it was revised to 100 million, which is a pretty terrible sign. And this 100 million was a cash injection. The current deal is for the whole company and all of their debts, they're completely different things.

HamSandwich: The bona-fide deal was for a 100 million dollars cash towards the debt involving the shareholders who would have to pay for it with dilution of shares, with the recomendation of the LRE CEO & BoD for approval by a vote of the shareholders. This guaranteed deal was approved by the money lenders. LRE CEO Andrew & the LRE BoD & the unnamed purchasers along with unnamed ...more

The original $200m “proposal” fell apart because MIE/Maple Marathon could not raise the money.   The revised $100m “proposal” wasn’t much more than a “Band-Aid solution” that due to the revised Credit Facility Term Loan provisions made it a bad deal for everybody. As far as I can tell although the revised “proposal” included a $5m Termination Fee if Long Run backed out there wasn’t one if MIE ...more

Again BlueCollar51 is deceiving, distorting & misinforming. First, LRE mgt. has the right to entertain unsolicited proposals & interested buyers can make their bona-fide intentions known to LRE shareholders. If  LRE shareholders believe this unsolicited offer to becredible & better than the MIE deal they have the right to exercise their vote & not approve the deal with ...more

I certainly do not disagree with you, Reflect, but as has happened many times before, no one will fund a legal action and our craven regulators are above investigating these sort of shenannigans. No doubt, insiders are looking after individuals much more important to them than the shareholders.

Everyone should listen to roscoe, as he has proven himself to be the very best at losing all of his money on his dumb stock picks. The last stock he owned, where he bragged he owned a "six-figure" investment, went belly up, and he lost it all. The guy is a complete moron.

Ah, my stalker appears. With 236 ignores, I doubt anyone cares what porkies he is disseminating this time. He knows nothing about my holdings.
