I do not understand.

I do not understand what is to happen to  old share holders of LRE.

1. What is the value per share for the old shares?
2. How will the value of this share find its way into the owners hands?
3. Will there be an opportunity to own shares in the new company?

First time I have been invovled with a buyout so do not know what will transpire. Pleaes help me out.

You are selling your shares to the new owners for $0.52/share. End of story for LRE as a public company trading on the TSE. There is no way to participate as a shareholder or bondholder in the future as the company will now be privately held.

Thanks for this information.  This loss is rather hurtful at 70% loss on the original value.  Live and learn when buying resource stocks rather than going with the quality stocks that give a steady return on investment and stability.   conservative2

I don't know if this will make you feel better but my loss is 89%. That is if I eventually do receive the .52 per share. Here it is July and still no money.

I guess I should have read the latest press release. The money is coming. I now have a large capital loss to apply to future gains somewhere else. Oh and some very hard lessons.

Capitial losses apply to cash accounts.    It is a total loss with an RRSP account.  Not sure about capital losses in TFSA. I saw another poster that lost more than me.  This makes me feel a bit better, knowing that others feel the pain.   We can all drink a few beers and move onto the next one.  conservative 2
