Is there not any laws when the halt must be delt with

Good question......but not one I have an answer to. Not sure it really matters, except to those waiting to write off against capital gains. Are there any assets left....possibly, but none that will come our way. Happily, most of us have made other, much better investments/speculations than this one.

Yes we have moved on.With this stock worthless and no trading, the only way left usually ,if your trading house allows,( it should) is to " gift" the shares to your bank/brokerage. That way you can the can carry the  loss forwad indefinately to offset future gains. Lesson learned for many here.Idiots like Aboveboard with his stupid comments,and GoJo with his high hopes,know nothing ...more

Just a clarification in regards yo my last post,should anyone care.If you sell at a loss ,it's easy to claim that loss.But in Wavefronts case,the shares aren't traded so they cannot be " sold" as such.Sometimes the brokerage is able to transfer the shares via a "OTC. Platform but the rules differ.In worst case scenario it's a total loss.Best to check with a qualified ...more
