The old CEO is gone Scott Hurd

for this Ben Sze and all we know about this guy is that he was We GROWS CEO.  I cant find any information on this guy and there is no "meet the team" on WESTLEAF's website...especially after the shake-up of ceo, coo and i more high ranking executive.  Along with "8 other".  Some of this is likely good for the pocketbook, but how do they expect anyone to want to invest if they dont' even showcase whos' running the company, now.   for every Westleaf share We GROW got 4.233 shares with an options to buy whacks more in the future.  This wreaks.  And our shares have gone from 169,000million to where 350,000 million offff the top of my head.

ya, so they say no way to fact check a private company but I suppose.  What I do like for sure is that statistics Canada has just reported a "47%" increase in sales for legal cannabis in Bristish Columbia.

"Acquired" hahahahahahahah. We Grow and the unnamed financial backers have majority control of Westleaf and their assets. As part of the terms, We Grow now holds 55% of all Westleaf outstanding shares. The Westleaf Board was also dissolved and a new one consisting of 3 We Grow appointed members and 1 West Leaf member (plus 1 more appointed party representing Thubderchild) means even if ...more

100% correct. This company was a giant exercise in cronyism, management loaded up the ranks with as many of their friends as possible, giving out BS overpaid positions, rode it till the company was barely worth anything, then sold it for scrap to (hopefully) some slightly more competent operators. And SoCal was there all along pumping this turd like his life depended on it. Haven't heard from ...more

Have more Directors/Managers left since the original announcement of the CEO leaving and the 10 others?
Comment by RustyRobin on Jan 28, 2020 2:29pm
"the elimination of 9 positions (approximately 30% of corporate staff)" from their website. So in other words 30% of the corporate staff were leaches that did nothing, and now that Hurd left WeGrow guy realized that most of the office were sitting around twiddling their thumbs or going for expensed lunches in company cars for 3 hours a day. I would be willing to bet my shares that " ...more

This isn't poking fun at you but the question in general made me laugh. How many companies with less than $60M in market value have 10+ Directors/Senior Managers? If I recall, Westleaf had 27+ made up senior level management positions. The Director of Real Estate or Director of Legal Counsel were fun... I figure We Grow is going to slowly sell off assets, keep a few things for themselves and ...more

for all the reasons you mentioned this is a great buy at current levels or lower. why? because as you mentioned WeGrow is now in charge of this beast, history of WeGrow operations should bring you the comfort to invest in WestLeaf at this stage. We Grow is cash-flow-positive turning a profit....... dont you think the same will happen with WestLeaf ?  We Grow = third best Craft Grower ...more

You should review We Grow's financials again regarding them turning a profit.  The more I read into this deal, the more it seems like it only benefits We Grow and Westleaf Directors (folks who received cheap shares).  Any 3rd party investor is getting royally taken... Take the following as an example: "Completion arrangement agreement between Westleaf Inc. and We Grow dated ...more
