Take A Closer Look

Hello all,

If you understand what it means Globally when the Chinese have announced their long-term, high-grade, Iron Ore control percentage goals are for the next 5-10 years (50%); and if you understand WAI's property location, and quality of ore, and cost of extraction numbers, and the quality of their government relationships there; and if you realize who the main investors are in WAI, and their firepower, reach, influence, and success history in finding elephant assets; and if you understand that they are now funded to the tune of $30 million (when juniors all over the place are going bankrupt right now), and more majors are interested in participating; and if you understand this CEO's abilities and ethics, and that this is NOT a pump and dump Howe Street deal, and that "time will tell" on the immense "quality" of their assets that they actually control, and their proximity to Rio Tinto, BHP, Vale (Vale is not going anywhere) and the multi-billion dollar Chinese infrastructure investment commitments to this area...how can you not like the two year forecast potential for this stock?

All the short-term Howe Street penny stock pumper and dumpers will disappear, and then the quality institutions will take over the buying and drive the share price to a level this World Class asset play will command. Watch and learn, watch and learn...this management team wants nothing to do with the day traders and short term hypsters. This is one of the best long-term holding stocks I have seen in 20 years...high grade Iron ore in West Africa is the last big "Gold Rush" you will see with the Chinese leading the charge and their economy is set to quadruple in the next 10 years...the institutions just need the asset report and metalurgy repoirts before they can start to really step in. It would take nothing to take this stock to 50 cents this year if the metallurgy is exciting...I am betting it will be.

Yes the resource markets are at “35 year lows”, but that is when the smart money buys...look at the price of this stock....its so unbelievably undervalued its unreal. What a gift this company is to my portfolio... I guess the real question is: With the Earth’s population doing what it’s doing (growing out of control), and the size of the growing massive middle-class in the Developing Countries like China and India, who want all the products we do, do you think the Global demand for hi-grade Iron Ore will go up or down over the next ten years?

Happy investing.  OracleVision

Nice post.   I understand the global  fundamentals for iron ore fairly well and htis is an interesting story but it seems to me the entire upsie now hinges on a significant offtake with China. And there are lots of junior iron ore projects looking for the same thing. Geographically this one stellar.   But the website is horrible, seldom updated, pictures of BOD "to be added ...more

The IR (via Vanguard) is pretty good actually. At least when it comes to answering questions via mail. Regarding the presentation I guess they just took it offline a bit too early but are now waiting for 43-101. Otherwise I agree, poor website and little to no media exposure. Again on the other hand there is not much you can come up with if you don't have a 43-101.   Hopefully WAI will ...more

At this point and time I don't blame them for not doing any promotions or or spending money on things that could cause further delution with no real results.   Unless they are at the point where the shoval is very close to hitting the dirt why would you?    In this market it would be a total waste of time and money, the only people who may benifit are the flippers.     ...more

Thanks for the responses, I believe there are two opinions (or camps) that both have merit to consider here in your responses. WOW!!!!  That was truly one of the most awesome over the top pumps I have ever read on stockhouse.  Good on you for so unashamedly talking up your position!!!!! I don't disagreee with much of what u say but concidering who is involved u would think that they would be stepping on each other to buy at 6 cents....they are not.  Why? On the sideline for now... Cheers Bluesky

Actually it is in CIF's interest to keep the stock price low.  They have to pay the greater of $0.10 per share or the current stock price to convert their debentures to shares. Also, the number of shares and warrants on the ask at these prices is extremely low according to level II data.  This stock will move up quickly on NI43-101 report if they prove significant iron ore deposits ...more

Hi Qaxter, how are you today? I believe CIF wants alot more to do with this project than a simple $30 Million credit facility...dig deeper into CIF as a company, and I believe you will see clearly they have an interest in and are betting heavily into Western Africa iron ore...$30 Million is small potatoes for them...they bought a significant interest (as did Glencore) in Bellzone and in my ...more

Hi Bluesky, lol, you made me smile with your post to me, yes, i am not shy when I believe in something, and why not add positively to a great story if you believe in it? Sent an email to Vanguard and they called me back within hours.  I too have invested heavily in this company, via the warrants - 2 million of them. They explained the reason there has been no news is ongoing preparation of legal documents for CIF agreement - I too feel CIF wants a bigger piece of the puzzle, but WAI needed cash now to complete resource drilling.  CIF wasnt ready to sink ...more

Hi Oracle, Glencore didn't buy into Bellzone, they just got an offtake agreement for their Forécariah mine (JV with CIF). CIF is holding 25% of Bellzone though. On the other hand I agree that WAI seems to have better grades (lower impurities). But Bellzones Forécariah mine is some kind of test plant for the much bigger Kalia deposit that also awaits the "go" for the ...more

With regards to additional testing, I believe WAI is looking at ways to process raw materials into an economically viable, commercially useful, and transportable product.  Vanguard wasnt specific on time frame. I agree there is still much risk here and many variables to this becoming a iron ore producing company.  I just think the execution of management will make or break this thing ...more

Just re-read your reply regarding Vanguard. Do you remember the wording of the answer? Maybe the 30m financing have allready been triggered.
Comment by Qaxter234 on Mar 05, 2013 12:40pm
They have already used a few million of the LOC from CIF for expenses mostly related to drilling.   Again, any questions you have dont hesitate to contact Vanguard.  They were very transparent with all information they can divulge.

Thanks, LeThug on the correction about Glencore...I knew that, late night when I wrote it. And yes, you are also right about the other points on Bellzone. I think WAI is much better positioned than Bellzone, just behind on the story.  I am excited about all the various opportunities WAI will have if their NI 43 101 and metallurgy looks good....but CIF buying 25% of Bellzone tells you ...more

The G&M and National Post wrote unbelievably negative articles on the mining sector, full of gross inaccuracies that deserve a retraction if not an apology. Comment by LeThug on Mar 08, 2013 9:14pm
initial focus was on sambalamba but it is deeper and more difficult to drill so the focus shifted to wondima. as far as i know they will drill awa next because it is also near surface and easy to drill.   part of the 43-101 will be whether it is possible to upgrade the ore into dso. i would see this as another milestone.

@veritas "Have we gone from hero to zero ?" As mentioned, Sambalama seems to be more difficult to drill than the other targets. So they will drill it again later.
