2 days earlier than I thought. Thats good. Look for the hydrogen initiative the same week. Doubtful it would be the same day. There would be too much to talk about. The Q&A would have to end before too many questions left unanswered.

2 days early. This is the earliest they've ever preannounced. While every day is interesting, personally I'm more interested in Friday's closing price. I expect that will be very interesting. Very possibly a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't rule out more news this week, now that webinar date is out of the way. That might explain today's early news.

Agreed. My take is we'll tickle the $6 mark by Friday COB. Only macro headwinds are the C-19 and US elections-driven broad negative market sentiment, but I don't necessarily see that preventing XBC from progressing nicely.

I'd rather thrash it than tickle it. The days of 30 cents being a big move are over. A 10% move is 50 cents now, and we'll definitely see plenty of big moves in the future. Many people , including analysts, have targets. While I often suggest a target by such and such a date, such as $7-$8 by Christmas, I don't really have an ultimate target. It's always moving.

I don't think xbc will see $6 , at least for a while after this Q is released. I suspect we see a dip,  while revenues grew nicely last Q  and should do the same this Q as per guidance, however they were negative ebitda last Q and they retracted their profit guidance for this Q.  I suspect the same sell off will happen here, but to a lesser extent, when they show negative ebitda ...more

I think we'll see a dip over the next couple of weeks to at least 4.50 ish or more likely 4.30 ish if the market stays in fowl mood, and I don't see many reasons that it won't stay fowl for a bit other than all that loot still sitting on the sidelines and I suspect most of that will wait for the election to settle out.

All depends on what the market does. If the DOW falls another 1700 points in 2 1/3 trading days you may be correct. If the market stablizes or goes up then XBC goes up. Too much going on here to stay down for very long. Much more reason to buy XBC than your average stock. A buy under $5.00 is a steal.

perhaps but i would be buying with both hands starting soon. We all know there are many potential xbc specific announcements forthcoming in the next few weeks and months, but isnt the over riding theme that with an acceleration of COVID that global stimulus is going to be ever more important and further accelerate the move to clean energy. COVID is driving this market down right now with a side ...more

It seems to me likely that what we're seeing here may be a Seller's Strike. That's stock market jargon for when there are few sellers above the prevailing stock price in the market. That might explain the bogus pre-opening bid/ask at $5 that was showing right up to 20 minutes before the market opened. This happens occaisionally, and is usually in the context of a stock making new highs ...more
