ooking at the Toyota website there is only one fueling station near Quebec City.  In early December 2020 Hydro Quebec announced they would make and run one of the largest electrolyzers in the world although I’m not sure of the timeline to completion.

ith the Hygear acquisition, Xebec has the technology to put in place small on-site type electrolyzers for both industrial use and rural fuel service stations.  My concern is that if they don’t act quickly enough they will likely lose infrastructure opportunity to the bigger players.  The best case scenario would obviously be if they partnered with Hydro Quebec.

I know this is only a small part of the equation and Xebec is positioning itself well to ensure they have a chance to participate in this race to 0 carbon.

Just learned that the Quebec hydrogen fueling station was made by Hydrogenics (owned by Cummins with 19% owned by Air Liquid).  Giddy Up Xebec...needs to catch up.
