I'll answer my own question

I'll answer my own rhetorical question, put to the board last Saturday, 5 days ago. Gamestock had closed the day before at $325.00.

When retail investors decide to sell their Gamestop and company, whenever that is, who are they going to sell it to?

It looks like the answer is " pretty much nobody".

Gamestop hit $57.20 earlier today. Some things in the market are entirely predictable, when viewed objectively.

What does this have to do with Xebec?

It  has nothing to do with Xebec specifically, but everything to do with the market. The market that Xebec trades in. My point may have been lost on those who are burdened with constrained, linear thinking.    I always took issue with people who liken the market to gambling. A horserace. A roll of the dice.    Very obviously, to students of the market, it is not. Indeed ...more

Thank you very much TT for that quirky reflection. Case in point last week on a zoom call with my friends, knowing I dabble in the stock markets they ask me my thoughts on GameStop. Trading at close to 400$ I told them you have to be Mentally Deranged to buy at these levels, one week later we are at 50$ and more downside to come. Sometimes it's so obvious that your risk calculation does not ...more

You guys are absolutely right.. this a generational wealth builder with a target of 30-40$ by 2025 as stated by TT. Forgive my frustration. Peace

Oh, that's why he's been acting like a child for a year, he probably lost serious money on the first dip. Seeing as how the stock went seriously down just short weeks after, it's not at all surprising that filoux changed his tune from being grateful to holding contempt. Wow, who knew he was so transparent. Sad.

Oh ya Filoix is a troll with the attention span of a Gold Fish. Glad I only see his posts indirectly via people roasting him aha.

I should qualify my earlier post that suggested the market is not like gambling, more specifically, my statement that the market is "not like a horse race"     In a way, the market is in fact somewhat like a horse race, with 2 major dissimilarities that work very much against the average investor.     The market is a horserace with no finish line, and you can switch ...more

"The problem many investors have is that they often switch to a horse that's tiring." -Brilliant!

It’s actually more like eating at a buffet . You’re first plate is filled with a large variety . Once you’re done you go back and load up on the 4 or 5 of your favourites . It’s rare to see a plate full of 1 item :-)
