Is Kurt for real?  What a farce.  I cannot begin to believe why he would mention buying in the quarterly if he intended to invest such a paltry amount.  Put down $250K minimum.  He'd best be buying the same Wed, Thurs, and Fri.  Otherwise better to have said nothing at all!

I agree with you, to an extent. Bottom-fishing is usually an exercise in futility. After today, there is reason to believe the low-close is in. Good reason. Don't be surprised if the scale measuring the weight of buyers against the weight of sellers tips drastically.

A large buy by mamagement sends a solid message to the market. Many times this has acted as the low once it is published. One good example was Jamie Dimon and other exec buying $1 billion of J P Morgan in March of last year.

i agree $40k is nonsense if it is $40k a day, then he is still basically showing little or no confidence in his enterprise, essentially hedging his bets, hoping for lower prices good luck, i'll wait for it to clear $7 before i put my cash back in the math still says wait the chart has not stopped going down (getting closer for sure) good luck

I think it's difficult for us to decide how much someone else should invest. It's all a personal matter. We may want him to invest more but that doesn't mean he should. He has done as he said he would and maybe he'll do more? His contribution plus those of the other insiders are fine by me. Their investment decisions are not the issue right now.

unbeleiveable newcoin if it is true this fellow (the CEO) did in fact sell $10,000,000 in XBC stock recently and if it is true that he recently bought back 'only' $40,000 then in my investing world something is not right the stock market is a game of confidence if you have it from the CEO down to the investor, the price will go up if not, it will not this is another one of those ...more

For someone who doesn't own XBC and won't be buying until $7.00 you seem to have a lot to say on this BB. The question is why?
Comment by whognu1 on Mar 30, 2021 6:45pm
gee, i always assumed that these are discussion boards one hopes that a good board would generally take and debate both sides of the stock/issue at hand not just pumpers and hopers, but realists and investors alike you can decide which you are personally i am here to keep an eye on a 'promising opportunity to make (MORE) money for my family' it is true, and I well documented here ...more

With all the mistakes you've done, you've probably only gained back everything you lost and sitting on a small profit overall. The way you're investing now sounds like a very risk averse investor making a couple thousands here and there but I bet you'll never make a life changing amount. Sounds like your just preserving your wealth for your family. I don't blame you, but over ...more

Whognu, regarding a CEO selling $10M in stock, your post shows how large a part of investing education is.  No insult intended and i don't claim to know it all.  But you cannot see this sale and  instantly say he has no confidence in his own company.  There are many reasons to sell, including tax on options.   I have not reseached his disposition but consider ...more

And that was asked in the quarterly conf call and Kurt explained as such.

Al: i beleive you missed my point i AM assuming the ceo rec'd options at pennies and i NEVER begrudge ANY CEO for taking some cash off the table and de-risking his family after years of building a business NEVER my point was simple IF he sold $10mm he had room to pay some tax (ok, a lot of tax!) and IF he wanted to signal all was well at XBC then a $1mm re-invesment would have got his ...more

Waiting to buy back in at over $7.00 is leaving a 70% gain on the table at current prices. For you to capture a 70% gain at your buy in price of $7 point the shares will have to rise to $11.90. Obviously you do see a path to a share price over $7. i would guess the near term downside at 10-20% against a 70% upside to your buy in price. I will take those odds anyday. I will probably be lightening ...more

Great post Zous, if you liked at $7 you got to love it at $4. As TT has stated it will see $20 before it sees $3

What about the lies you've been called out on? Do we just continue paying attention to you when you've already exposed you're true character? It's already been said, you can leave or you can continue to be a pest. I have no time for pests. IGNORE

Someone called Douglas asked if any insiders would be buying after the blackout ends, and Kurt responded that he could only speak for himself and that he would be buying. It might have been a spur of the moment thing, but he was answering the question. Saying nothing at all would have looked worse.
