It means the stock was shorted mainly in advance of the actual earnings report (after the warning) and there will be a need to cover the short position esp. once the shorters realize the bottom has been hit.

Look at the average number of shares shorted per trade, works out to under 400 shares. That's not smart $. Smart money would have sold or shorted in Jan and Feb,  not after the news was out. What advantage does one have if everyone has the same info?
