Certainly, most people don't know what the terms mean. Rather than explain them myself, and inviting derision, just Google " what is wash trading?", and "what is mirror trading?". There you know you will get an answer you can be sure is unadulterated by bias.

Certainly you know that Google searches most definitely do not give answers unadulterated by bias. That bias is determined by the activity of the account holder through which the Google search is made.  Hoiwever in this case I doubt that should be an issue.
