I have to believe they have either already secured a candidate or have an offer out to one.
Keep in mind this position is not one which is afforded a 2 week notice when leaving. It can be a 3 - 6 month process as it there are key strategic hand-offs and transitions to accomodate. You also dont announce it until the incoming candidate is within a Q of taking the reigns.
It would be great to see someone from a large enterprise energy company fill the position. Preferably someone who continues to suppor the D&I aspirations for the executive mix.
The pedigree and expertise of the incoming COO will need to compliment the reach of relationships they bring with them.
XBC continues to invest and grow in the right areas at the righ time.

Okay! Thanks for that. I'm mistaken. I thought he said, "he will build his team". It would seem my memory is indeed failing me. Pretty soon I'll be able to hide my own Easter eggs.
