News of news to come is news

In and of itself.  XBC announcing the quarterly release and call date and times is not going to love this stock.  We can't be desperate - this is only going to move on real and substantial news, or alternately solid quarterly perform very numbers and guidance over time.  No amount of microanalysis of daily volumes or gyrations or relative movements vs our peer group amounts to anything more than a time killing exercise until the market finally moves for a reason.  It's tough to feel helpless, and while it's fun to pass the days with witchcraft analysis, and its human nature to try to convince ourselves we are in control and see why things are happening, it's healthier to be pragmatic and honest.  We are in the penalty box for a good while.  We *Icked up something serious, and we're paying for it.  If you're not a seller, just settle in.  This thing  isn't taking off on a moment's notice no matter how nice it would be.  As another mentioned, pray the quarter is void of more bad news.  No bad news is good news for this quarter.  Don't expect fireworks or you'll be sadly disappointed.  GLTA and patience patience patience

Well said . Cutting thru all the noise here is refreshing . Always best to have a degree of scepticism in ones stocks . It keeps one grounded in reality . GLTA

Possibly with an "attachment".    Some additional news simultaneously with the announcement is far from out of the question.  ...more

TT, I did read your post thoroughly, as I do for many.  'Possibly' and 'not out of the question' are undeniably safe statements given they cover any and all outcomes.  I'm of the mind that it is not likely however that we get a needle-moving PR.  The Feb 16th PR that you're quoting is emblematic of the trouble with XBCs lost trust from the market place at the ...more
