All time high

I know it's a little premature to ask this but assuming that xebec executes this year and meets at least the low end of guidance what are everyone's thoughts on how long it will take to get back to the all time high or do you even see us getting there at all?

It is premature but I think they would have to greatly exceed guidance for there to be much of a chance to reach ATH in the next year.I will continue to hold unless there are more major problems such as we have seen. I expect that we will have to be patient in the meantime.

Given that essential characteristics for an investor are a thick skin and a good sense of humour, IMHO, this was the best post of the day. GLTA

I'm not overy optomistic for the balance of the year, so personally I have no expectations XBC trades over $6, assuming we execute, meet guidance, and make some savvy purchases.  Yes that's 50% from where we are today, so some may argue that that's pretty solid, but based on where we've been, it would only feel like a good base to me.  From $6, I'd hope to see some ...more

"nor is our relative trading to other stocks." Correlations would say otherwise. Recent or long past. Sorry.

I suppose it depends on what one garners from the correlation.  In my mind, while it may be of passing interest, it is meaningless.  If I own those stocks, then I'm passionate about their performance, but otherwise, careless.  Seeking solace in knowing that we've performed 'well' in relative terms given that we're down 60% while others are down 70% makes little ...more

"how long it will take to get back to the all-time high or do you even see us getting there at all?"    We'll get there all right, but asking when is a tall order. You've been here long enough to remember when the stock first hit $5, and someone asked how long it would take to go to $10. My reply was that it would have to go to $8 first.    We've already ...more

The chances of that scenario happening are not as far-fetched as they may seem. You can't stop progress but you can invest in it.

Well put TT.  And absolutely, money will come back to the sector in due course.  If there's one thing that keeps my money here it's the relentless push by govts to pour tax dollars into ESG until it makes both environmental sense, AND economic sense.  I do not appreciate the approach based on my conservative economic views, but do from my liberal social views, and am more ...more
