So I guess last year they intentionally pumped targets to boost the share price so they could turn around and hammer it back down. Td says 17.50 if they make guidance of 80 million last year but then this year at 110 the target is 7.50 seems to me they pumped and dumped to load back up again.

Because they probably thought it would grow at this rate. But wasn't the case so they are being punished for over promising and underdelivering. All they care about now is "show me the numbers." Whatever you do show me that you can manage to grow at this rate. Prove to us with numbers ; your guidance does not mean anything to us anymore. This is how they think!
Comment by Newtrader1982 on Jun 15, 2021 4:39pm
But they won't be able to show the numbers. TD is expecting 120 million anything less than that will be perceived as a miss and I will tell you right now no way in hell xebec is gonna report 33 million revenue for q2.

I think it's time to accept the fact that Kurt and his team are just straight up liars pumping up guidance to try and attract investors. I can't quite understand why they do that because in the end it makes them look like they don't have a good grasp of the path they are on when they can't produce the results they promise. Does Kurt enjoy having the share price fall when they ...more

Not sure why your getting all worked up about revenues unless you know something I don't but se below for TD's revenue estimates for the second, third and fourth quarter. Q2 $30.5 Q3 $32.8 Q4 $35.4
Comment by catchascatchcan on Jun 15, 2021 6:06pm
Q2 will be when the rubber hits the road.  We scratched out $20.6M in Q1, and to hit forecast we need a massive 50% increase Q over Q.  If we hit mid $20s or even higher $20s, I'd expect nothing less that an punishement in the markets.  The modest ramp as per TD below seems all too reasonable, other than the 'small' fact that it's only modest in terms of a 50% spike ...more

Your judgement seems harsh. It is a ramp up. It won't happen exactly as TD has indicated, Q by Q. It's the YE that counts. Do we hit $120M in revenues.
Comment by catchascatchcan on Jun 15, 2021 10:13pm
New, it may sound harsh, but it's fair.  And markets are more harsh and less fair much of the time.  They won't wait around for year end to come to pass judgment, and it will be glaringly clear if we're on track this quarter.  If we're not, then their hand will be forced in reducing guidance.  I'm still here, so not entirely glass half empty, but I am ...more

But we're already so beaten down? How much lower do you really think we can go? There is tremendous value in this company. I think we're pretty close to the bottom no matter what happens.
Comment by catchascatchcan on Jun 16, 2021 9:23am
I agree, we are, and there is.  That said, never forget that John Maynar Keynes - "the markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent".  You're seeing XBC through rational eyes, and are bias due to your investment.  I don't know how low we can go, but I do know from experience never to say never.  Not being a doomsday prophet, but just ...more

You’re spot on with this post , just better articulated than I could ever be .

Savy do you honestly believe xebec will be able to produce those numbers in the next 3 q? Personally I highly doubt it nothing has really changed they bought a company that will add 2.3 million in revenue in the second half of the year and signed a contract worth 160k for the year big woosh as whognu would put it. They will have to have massive organic growth to achieve tds estimates. The analysts ...more

Are you forgettting partial Nortec revenues, the Biostream deliveries and the full impact of Imnatec revenues? Remember the low end of Zebec's guidance is 110 million and TD is modeling 120 million. I am believing the revenue numbers are doable but would like a news release stating a sale or 2 of the Biostream units soon.
Comment by Newtrader1982 on Jun 15, 2021 8:23pm
inmatec revenues were partially included in q1 and that was underwhelming 20.6. I will give you nortec but that's not adding a huge amount either. Biostream may be the saving grace we shall see I guess.
