there is a wall

There's a wall of support between here and the mid-May low close at $3.65.
There's no question about it.
There is absolutely no chance it will break it.
It's as big as The Wall in Game of Thrones.
Bigger.

TT, if you've been around as long as you have, you should know better than to use absolutes when talking about stocks.  None of us know where we're going, but we sure as heck know where we are, and it's far from 'sitting pretty' sadly.  GLTA

I can unequivocally state that there is the Great Wall if China at zero. GDAY go CTS go

It's not 'sitting pretty' It's not sitting sadly, It's just sitting. It's been sitting for almost 5 months. Sitting in the midst of a maelstrom Greenlane was down 9% today. Pyrogenesis is plumbing new lows. Burcon is a write-off. The small-caps have been decimated. Hard to explain when the market is making highs but many of them have been at least halved. They won ...more

exactly as expected volume is picking up, somebody is going to jump on this opportunity. At these prices there's is serious buyers. Tomorrow could be interesting.... July 29 volume was 151,600 + July 30 it was 159,700 + Aug 3 420,400 + today 715,811
Comment by Newtrader1982 on Aug 04, 2021 8:16pm
yeah volume is picking up just as TT said it would and I wrongly predicted the opposite would happen. However it seems to be picking up for the wrong reason because the share price is diving lower.
Comment by VicesVertus2222 on Aug 04, 2021 8:48pm
Volume mayhave pickedup today, but the way trades have been done were with some very large volume for a few trades when I lastchecked mid afternoon. It was not  constant. There were some very high peaks.
Comment by tamaracktop on Aug 04, 2021 8:54pm
Yes. I noticed some block trades. It was interesting who crossed them.

geez double Titanium for a tenured (albeit retired) broker you sure do say some questionable things  for 6 months you have regaled us with happy stories of "this will never see $7 $6 $5 $4 $3 dollars again......" well, here we are, down to the six month low once again   So let my inexperienced mind summarize XBC share price over the next 2 weeks ...more

Q2 is historically the best Quarter year over year. If it's bad,(which I doubt) we'll break the trend and it will fall like a knife!

So easy to criticize. So difficult to make a relevant contribution.
Comment by savyinvestor333 on Aug 05, 2021 5:38am
I remember you making a similar statement for either the last quarter or the one before that never materilized. You seem to think that there is no middle ground and the stock can stay where it is. [ mr savvy: my point has always been there are no guarantees in the market up, down, sideways, only in hindsight it is KNOWN i was one of the early folks to discuss technicals to xbc and was shouted down fair enough, yet the technicals worked to a tee, and with luck some folks actually learned a thing or two those that i have discussed xbc with (privately dm and publicly here) for ...more

Very well said. People on this board tend to have thin skin whenever anyone questions this stock . We all are invested to make money . I have been invested in xebec for years and have regularly taken money off the table . I still own shares but much less than before which obviously means I believe in its potential . They still need to prove they can be bottom line positive . Glta
Comment by Newtrader1982 on Aug 05, 2021 10:21am
it's true bottom line growth is where a company makes money for it's shareholders very easy to go out and aquire top line growth but if you are not being prudent and acquiring companies that improve the bottom line you are just wasting shareholders money in my humble opinion. I believe coronavirus has significantly impacted xebec in a negative way and it has been expensive for them to ...more

Well said and key word 'respectfully' and without Bravados and guarantees. The only goal is to generate return on capital, the road and time frame you choose are up to you. Gday
