I've been thinking about Tuesday's "interview" with Kurt

Ive been wondering what the timing means, if anything.
As I said before, it's unusual for a company CEO to do a Webinar about his company 2 days before an earnings release.
So what does it mean?

Obviously Kurt isn't doing this to point out the company is having problems.
And obviously Kurt isn't one to promote his company 2 days before it announces difficult results.

I've concluded that the simple fact is that Xebec is undervalued today and Kurt knows it, and he's completely comfortable at these levels spreading awareness of Xebec, and what it does, and where its going.

My opinion, in a nutshell.

whatever the reason it's a paid service marketing company they did the same in the past when the share price was not doing good they paid to have an article put out.

That's exactly my point! They wouldn't do this on the cusp of releasing anything dissapointing. Do you actually think Kurt would promote his company 2 days before news that would have a negative reaction in the market?  Not a chance. And when exactly did they do "the same in the past when the share price was not doing good they paid to have an article put out." I have an ...more

I can't recall the exact article or date I believe it's in my post history somewhere. But they paid to have an article so when you googled xebec it would be what popped up if I had to guess I would say it was around last time we were closing below 4.

So what? That looks like a little harmless PR to me. I doubt very much it was a deliberate attempt to move the market. If it was, it wasn't very effective. The stock closed at $4.19 the day that was published. Anyway, there's a big difference between a paid-for piece of P.R 2 months before earnings and the CEO doing a Webinar 2 days before earnings. It sounded to me that you were ...more

oh am not implying the webinar is a bad thing just saying it's a paid service that's all. I think it's just to grab attention before the numbers which obviously must be good if you want to draw attention to the company beforehand. We are on the same page.
