It's all Good Newtrader

I was just trying to make the point that every stock has periods of weakness, and that when good ones do it presents an opportunity that many people miss.

Did you know that between December 17th 1999 and October 19 2001 Amazon stock dropped from $94.06 to $8.01?

It lost 91.5% of its value.

The rest is history.

The people who hold Xebec for the lond term, through thick and thin, are going to do better than they would dare imagine. Especially these days.

By the way, as I recalll, at $8 there wasn't a single analyst who was bullish on the stock.

Never once in its history did Nortel report a profit. As I recall the high on Nortel was actually $124.25, but I could be wrong.

People who invested $2500 in Amazon back then, when things looked their very very worst, have made $1,029,062. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Xebec will recover. Xebec hasn't seen its highs. This isn't Xebec's denoument. It's only just starting, and it's picking up speed. That isn't being reflected in the stock price now, but it will.

It's becoming increasingly clear that you are an idiot who has no idea how the stock market works. I've been here since 40 cents a mere 4 years ago. How long have you been here?

Maybe you and I could have a live debate about Xebec's future right here and right now. I will eviscerate you. You can start. I will tear you to shreads. Seriously. Let's go. I'll toast you. Bring it on.

TT - you don't appreciate being called names, yet you're all too eager to 'challenge' people with threats of evisceration.  These aren't medievel times, and you are no knight if it were.  None of us want you to risk throwing out a hip at any rate, so please keep it civil. And Babedinkleman just lit you up.  You're burning.  Someone here will rescue you ...more

Oh so you care about the people all of sudden lol...so now you're the good guy huh? First of all you personally never gave any insight to "the people" you care so much about... He just posts what he thinks is going to happen, it's up to you to decide whether you agree or not. This is called critical thinking. No one is pulling out a gun to your head and telling you to buy hold or ...more

There's a lesson here. Amazon went from $94 to $8 before it went to $3,000. Imagine the sentiment at $8. Stocks are a good buy when looking at them makes you want to throw up. People think Xebec is a write-off? It's very very far from it.[/quote] I caught just a little bit of flack for that post. as though I was comparing Xebec to Amazon. lol I was only pointing out what the market can ...more
