Unquestionable
The trading in Xebec recently is all retail.
There is only one reason a retail investor would sell Xebec today, at these levels.
That reason is impatience.
Investors are impatient,
Everyone wants instantaneous gratification.
The stock market is a horse race that goes on forever, and one where you can switch horses whenever you like.
I know for a fact from my many conversations with members of the inner sanctum that a large number of Xebec shareholders also own Exro.
I'm sure some reading this do.
There is no question that some here are selling Xebec to buy Exro, which has sprung to life in the last few days on above-average volume.
That may well be a good idea.
It's definitely one that would appeal to momentum players.
Having said that, Xebec has traded down to a level where it is inherently well-supported by fundamentals as well as technicals.
The downside here for those looking more than a week or two ahead is zip.
Xebec isn't going to do anything on these volumes.
That's a fact.
It's going to need volume to come back in order to do anything meaningful, and that will likely need a catalyst in the form of news.
FuelCell today would be a case in point. A perfect example.
It's already traded 170 million shares versus its 30-day average volume of 17.7 million shares, and it's smashed through both its 21 and 50-day moving averages to the upside.
Xebec has been unusually quiet of late.
Some people think that a lack of news indicates that nothing is happening at the company.
What a ridiculous assumption.
There are always things happening behind the scenes, we just haven't heard any details yet.
Xebec is a classic example of the type of company that can make a huge move on unexpected news.
A very big move.
People switching horses at this stage may well be doing the right thing, but they're taking on the very real risk of being caught flat-footed.

I think the general market jitters and weak green energy sentiment are doing no favours. Funny cause I see XBC held up great during the jitters last October but I guess Green Tech was hotter then

Many years ago, when I had the means, I bought a horse. It was a trotter. I named it Hoof-Hearted. I always had a good laugh at the finish line.
