Hey Ferret

Within 15 seconds so you don't have time to look it up.. What was the name of the captain of the Titanic?

Many people don't know that the Titanic wouldn't have sank if it had hit the iceberg head-on instead of trying to avoid it. That's a fact.

True story I had a collection of over 200 National Geographic the oldest one dating back to 1946...at night I would choose one and flick through the pages, odly enough what I like the most were the ads. Just sold the collection for 100$ I hope it will serve young curious minds.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGKpT1oGAnQ - probably the coolest thing for Titanic Enthusiasts, is actually getting to see the ship sink, live, in real time alongisde expert commentators who are both historians and computer modelers. A great way to spend an evening or a Saturday afternoon with a few drinks or a joint in-hand.
