I  agree, someone made a bunch of money and will probably do it again on the next news item. That type of trade should be investigated.

Or reported... it should be easy enough to see if there were some big buyers yesterday that then sold prior to the news release.

If "someone" knew of the news yesterday, I don't see why they would bid up the stock 12% on this news. Volume was relatively high yesterday. Did they just blindly bid the stock up hearing there was a NR with no specifics? Some had speculated institutional buying was on hand taking out the sellers and based on way above average volume, I would tend to agree seeing that retail ...more
