Goodwill impairment

My concern is could there be a goodwill impairment for the purchase of Inmatec or any of the companies they aquired for that matter, but specifically Inmatec due to a decline in covid which is fuelling a lot of their sales and xebec bought them at a point of high demand. If they were to have declining sales moving forward as covid gets more subdued could there be a goodwill impairment and decline of assets value. Or is increased oxygen generation sales here to stay for the long haul as hospitals prepare for a possible future respiratory disease. Not suggesting that this will happen just throwing it out there as a concern of mine.

The future of Inmatec is dependent on the desire (and need) for hospitals to have a more dependable source of oxygen.   COVID has simply emphasized the critical need for oxygen as it is the ONLY treatment that a hospital has to offer a patient with COVID.   If it is impossible to keep the patient's oxygen level up--they die.  It takes a LOT of oxygen to do that and ...more

But covid can cause blood clots as well as heart attacks that lead to death which sounds to me like it should be recorded as a covid death if it played a significant role in the death. Same with a cancer patent whose immune system is compromised if they get covid and end up in hospital unable to breathe and die are you blaming the cancer for that. I stand corrected on the number of deaths and apologize for the misinformation.  Statistics are that 228 police officers died of COVID nationwide and 48 died from gunfire in 2020.  In 2021, 245 police officers have died of COVID nationwide and 45 died from gunfire.  The original Alpha strain COVID devastated nursing homes and I agree that many of those people also had significant ...more

No use trying to make sense of it. These are people who believe Bill Gates is planting chips in people. 80% less chance of a cop dying from gun shot wound but I wonder how many refuse to wear a Kevlar vest?
