Short trade value on Nov.15ish was $24MM, as of Nov.30th Short trade valie is just $7.8MM and I would guess they are all cleaning up their act right now as well. This could be wound like a spring right now just waiting for the right reason to POP... at least I hope it does.... $4.25 is not an unreasonable short term target

One can speculative that the short positions increased in advance of Q2 and Q3 results.  As Q3 was far from a disaster and tax loss selling is abating, share price advancement could trigger short covering esp. given the limited downside at this share price level. Ciao, thanks for posting that... Why are my numbers so significantly different than yours... I borrowed mine from Shortdata.ca...  I certainly dont want to be misleading anyone although directionally we are indicating the same thing but your picture isn't as rosy and frankly feels a bit more realistic! I will check later as I may have misread...

Main difference is the value of the shorted shares (number of shares x share price at time of short) vs. number of shares shorted. My numbers were from CEO.CA, even in comparison to short volume on Shortdata.ca there is a difference, I believe one is volume vs. other as being net short volume. Imagine if one shorts a stock twice and covers it twice within the same reporting period.  There
