Are we shaping up for an ideal close? Possibly an excellent one? Very well could be $1.82 - $1.93 with 11,000 bid and 100 offered with 8 minutes left. I'm looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

Tomorrow is the last day for tax loss selling, so Xebec should trade lower.

Anyone who sold for tax purposes has already done so. Noone waits for the last day, do you? Many people are on holidays and aren't really thinking about the market. That's part of the reason the move on Friday's half-day session on 400+ thousand shares was so unusual. Tax - loss selling won't be a factor tomorrow. plus would you want to sell the very last day and then kick yourself if over the next 30 days it climbs to 4 dollars and you can't buy back below 3 again.

Thank you tamarack, this is a good point. I do think we will see some short covering on Thursday as they will want to avoid the tax 2021 tax bill.

December 27 was the last day for tax loss selling. And the market was closed. On to 2022 without that overhang.

No. Since 2017 the settlement date has been T + 2. The last day to trade in Canada for settlement this year is Wednesday. ( tomorrow)
