Volume

Big volume for no apparent reason.

Either this reverses to the upside and this is the final capitulation low, or something
is seriously wrong here.

I've always interpreted no news ias good news because I would think the board is too experienced
to withhold material information and is aware of their obligation fot full disclosure, so
barring a weak close I'll go with the former.

Today's close will likely be the most telling in months.

Fund dumping / forced selling is all I can think of.

Hard to hang on, all the talk about great numbers is only on this board. I think that those that beleive in the numbers are in for a rude awakening and that includes me. Maybe I'm wrong TT seems convinced as do others. I thought we really were going to be a game changer. Something seems materially wrong that we can't see until the numbers and guidance come out. The good news for TT is that ...more

Whether or not I obsess over it, the reality is, with any luck, I have 30-40 years on you dinkledork. I am much younger than you. yadda yadda yadda. this is why I bought more shares today. 29,340 shares @ $3.32 - still loading up. I'm glad you've cut through the fog, wish you much success.  On a more relevant note, did anyone manage to nab any shares under $2? I bought a handful myself at $1.985.

My take is that when the clean energy / carbon footprint / global warming theme really caught on with the investment community, investing entities bid up the prices of these stocks far too high given where these companies actuallly stood at the time, including whatever near-term potential said companies had. I suspect the move to renewables (which is inevitable in my view) will be much slower and ...more

Alwayslong say: "I suspect the move to renewables (which is inevitable in my view) will be much slower and take much longer than many bulls in this sector think it will." I wonder how you can pretend that, as for me i suspect the exact contrary..... If you think of all the numerous disasters around the world that cost billion $$$ each years and growing, plus the urgency of correcting ...more

And that again is why XBC's carefully thought out strategy will take care of the company where their path to profitability is much more probable than the fuel cell battery producers. Their RNG (potential 5 - 10% hydrogen blend) can be injected into the existing (or connecting) NG pipeline infrastructure) that represents $B that the oil and gas conglomerates don't want to see waste away ...more

Is it me who does'nt understand well because of my lack of english, but Ciao is'nt talking about fossil fuel but is talking about natural gas....For me there is a difference between petroleum and gas  that is much less damageable.
Comment by Ciao on Jan 19, 2022 5:21pm
Natural gas is a fossil fuel along with oil and coal.   It burns cleaner than oil and coal but the concern is leakage of methane which in the atmosphere is worse than the effects of carbon dioxide. The advantage of RNG is that it is taking organics that produce bio-methane and diverting it from the atmosphere and upgrading it to burn as a fuel.

Thanks for steering us back,,, From the data on California dairy, a large farm in Califirnia can have 15,000 cows with each cow producing 62kg of manure a day for a total of 930,000 kg per day. If this were a small city it would require a waste treatment centre but in "farming" a big clay lined hole with a cover is allowed. (argument for another day) .  Anyway the opportunity to ...more

Not to mention the minerals that go into all the EV batteries . Lithium , cobalt , nickel and copper which all need to be mined .

That's true for now, but they are improving those batteries, and it's always better than fuel anyway. Also maybe in a near future, there will be hydrogen to replace all that...

There was only one "green" acquisition. You must be referencing HyGear which if I recall had about $18M rev in 2019 and was said to be growing in double digits wrt revenues moving foward. XBC paid about $160M or about 8X 2020 rev. Considering how the hydrogen names are still sellling at 20 - 40  P/S even now after the decline I don't see how it was overpriced on that valuation ...more
