I'm still here Dinkleman

I haven't been actively posting since I have nothing much to add, but I do continue to read these boards.

To RichesToRagz, welcome! Don't be intimidated by babedinkleman, he is the arrogant, self-righteous bully of this board who's not very well liked here. He attacks all new users, but if you ignore him these boards can be a pleasant and supportive place.

With regards to your particular predicament, I'd say be optimistic because things can't get much worse for XBC. Hindsight is 20/20, so I'm sure you would have done things differently if you could go back in time, but I believe small caps are on the mend, and that there's a very good chance you'll recover a good chunk of your losses within 6-12 months.

When you do recover your losses, diversify into real estate to create an additional income stream. Buy a 1 bedroom condo or two and rent them out. Also buy reliable blue chip stocks that pay dividends, you can't go wrong with Canadian banks.

All the best to you!

Thanks for the heads up Winston. I'll just put babedinkleman on ignore. He doesn't own this board, so not sure why he acts like he does, probably has a low self-esteem and acts out online. Anyways, I don't have time for rubbish people, so will just ignore. I do believe growth stocks will recover soon, it's just a matter of if it recovers in time before my portfolio gets wiped out. ...more

I don't believe a buyout of XBC is imminent, and besides, a buyout at this juncture would be unfavourable for long-term shareholders, even with a substantial buyout premium. Most long-term shareholders wouldn't be happy with a buyout for $3-4, when it's highly likely XBC will be hitting a double digit share price in the next 12-24 months.

Not everyone is an alias Babe, but I appreciate approaching life with a healthy dose of skepticism

Winston is a regular in our discord and has a unique communication style. If he's lying and duping us, he's doing a pretty good job of it. Not that it matters, as we believe in Xebec, not Winston. Don't read too much into that Winnie, nothing but love.

Thanks Kronyboy! We've always known babedinkleman is a bit mentally unstable, but for him to claim that all new posters here are the same person is a bit insane, even for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he wears a tinfoil hat and believes that the Reptilians are taking over humanity. We'll just leave him be, and let all new users know to avoid babedinkleman - the unfriendly ...more
