Jesus, I just thought of something

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why Kurt left the board

Surely it couldn't have anything to do with a pending bid from Air Liquide.

Oh I hope not.

I'm trying to figure out how Kurt's involvement on the board as a major shareholder could
constitute a conflict of interest in the event of a takeover bid, but no matter how I spin it, I can't see how.

I still can't figure out why he quit the board.

I'm probably just being paranoid.

I have to go now.

I think there's somebody watching me through my bedroom window.

There's always a conflict of interest for the CEO in any potential takeover: given Kurt's age and desire to retire from the CEO position, the deeply discounted share price / assets, it does make the company vulnerable to takeover overtures. Did someone test the waters by only talking to Kurt directly (without a formal bid) and Kurt then informed the board? Anything's possible. https: ...more
