For the record
There is only one thing that drives markets ie stock prices FEAR Fear of missing out on a multi bagger and Fear of loosing your entire investment. Second every company can go bankrupt ie stock price becomes worthless ZERO but there is no such thing as an infinite multibagger. It's never happened and never will, financial gravity eventually takes hold. Peace CTS, Ret.a IDG

Yeah there is a little more to it than that emotion is only a small portion of what drives trading.

Nope it's always the pendulum of fear. Everything in between is just wall street trying to rationalize and sell ie sound intelligent to the investing clientele with the continuous dance called fundamental analysis and DCF calculations. The fear factor determines the multiples ,assumptions and discount rate used by the analyst's Peace CTS, RET.a and IDG

You aren't wrong but it's not based on nothing. What you are describing as fear is really just people pulling money out of the market because of current economic conditions. Then there is intrinsic value to consider and so many other factors. It's not just fear and fear of missing out those are the last one's to kick in.
