Bought my first shares in xbc today... I hope the 3 year plan you are talking about starts today! The last year and half have certainly been a problem. Hopefully some here have offset their losses with investing in the oil and gas sector. GLTA

IF you have not saved and invested in the stock market massively from the age 15 to 35, you already lost the game of financial independence at 45, you won't have time to build wealth and you'll retire at 65 or later like most people. Excellent point ZouZS3, then the question becomes one of strategy between stock picking or a diversified balanced/rebalancing low cost portfolio of ETFs. Very very very few people will outperform option no 2 in the long term. You don't believe me go read research of Dimensional Funds, outfit based in L.A. that runs close 1T in assets. Basically they only invest in a pool of ETFs emphasizing

Such an unnecessary post you have gone now from telling people if they aren't betting on 3 years they should sell to now telling people they have to be a certain age to build wealth. How about you worry about yourself and stop telling others what they should do with their own money and investment strategies.

Didn't mean to offend you Gann or anyone on here...all I'm saying is if you don't at least believe in their 3 year plan...you shouldn't be investing in this company to try to build your wealth. That's all. Take it or leave it.

Nothing like getting a little lucky....hope a lot of the long timers got a few to average down..not sure what fair value is today but like every market things go up too much and down too much hopefully the down too much part is in the rear view mirror...
