ALISO VIEJO, CA , March 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- XsunX, Inc. (OTC:XSNX), a leading solar and energy saving technologies provider, announced today that sales and interest for its popular solar car/truck port configurations are outpacing all other technologies the company offers.
“For some time now, we’ve been telling commercial and industrial customers to start looking at every square foot of land to unlock cash and operating savings using solar canopies.” stated Tom Djokovich, CEO of XsunX, Inc. “It looks like the message is resonating and we are making sales, providing quotes, and working with clients to help solve unique application requirements. We are seeing a definite change in client perception to think outside of the box to solve their power needs.”
While the Company continues to make sales with its cost-efficient standard solar parking canopies and rooftop solar, they were recently selected for a project where its design of a solar canopy overcame the limiting shade conditions of being placed adjacent to tall commercial buildings. This allowed XsunX to add over 88,000 kWh of energy production to the project total – a 27% boost for the customer.
At another location, the client’s energy needs far outpaced the power production available from the potential of a 780kW rooftop solar system. XsunX has offered the client an additional 195kW of energy production, nearly 350,000 additional kWh per year of solar energy, by utilizing custom solar canopies to overcome difficult site conditions stemming from extreme heavy truck traffic.
And, working with another group, the company is helping to develop a concept design for massive solar canopies 60 feet in height and collectively covering acres of high truck traffic commercial storage.
“We see the market for solar canopy applications of all types rapidly expanding,” continued Mr. Djokovich. “That is why XsunX is continuously focused on delivering results through creative solar canopy designs that often make the difference necessary for the economic feasibility of a project,” concluded Mr. Djokovich.
