43 MILLIONS IMPRESSIONS OF AN EXTREMELY OBSCURE METRIC
These news releases are all about creating obscure metrics that cannot be proven nor disputed and they just sound nice.
Just like the missing 1.1 million yappn users reported last december. Obscure metric which could have meant that 1.1 million users could have been redirected by the Alexa client to the yappn home page. We never heard of those users again since last december. If you logged into yappn chat, no users if any and and few comments only left by stockhouse users.
Just like the report 1700% increase in yappn users with no reported user numbers. It could have been 1 user and increased to 18 users which corresponds to 1700% increase. Another obscure news release.
This is a joke.

enus. Why is this a joke? Did you not see the new numbers out for fotoyapp yesterday? over 900,000 impressions. Not nearly as many impressions as you ,yyz,garfeild,retirecrap,iceA, et al seem to come up with but they're working on it. Wait until next weeks London Fashion Show. Maybe there will be a few surprises. Watch the SP.

If an ad is shown for 1 second you have an impression. If you have 4 ads on a page that change every 10 seconds, then after a minute, that user generates 24 impressions. If he refreshes the page there are four more. There are better metrics. One thing is for sure, a 100 impressions does not mean a 100 users.
