Missed opportunities!

This is a snippet from an article I read.  Yappn is so far behind in language translation.  It seems we are going to be left behind.  And why is it that I am finding these opportunities and the Yappn team cannot get their sh_t together.  We should have been hitting these large companies from the get go.  

Even earlier this month, when asked about Twitter’s translation feature for foreign language tweets, the company’s CEO Jack Dorsey conceded that it does not happen in “real time, and the translation is not great.”

That is the same for yappn.  It uses google translate.  You can't possible say the translation is great with Ortsbo can you?  Ever actually tried it?

Yappn has already conducted live translation Twitter events, been some time since though. As for ICE (DWF), I could care less where they are based, just pay A/R.  Unfortunately, market won't know the truth of that until quarterlies.  However, Yappn has indicated that since the DWF liquidity event with ICE, partial payment has been made and by all accounts DWF program continues to ...more

Invstr_St8ofmind want to see them win as much as you do.  Yappn just has not had the vision, focus, or discipline to succeed. I have to disagree with you about Twitter.  It is one thing to host an event "on" Twitter for another company, it is an entirely different animal to have Twitter as a client.  We have touted our abilities to do language translations in real time for ...more

That was given up years ago lol.  They annouced the twitter thing in 2010.  Probably never actually launched for a couple years after.  Like the coming wonring.  There is no profit in doing things for free.  Besides that, it's not like Twitter couldn't write a few lines of code to use google translate if they wanted to.  Don't pretend the translation ...more
