TransGaming (V.TNG, StockForum) reveals first quarter results with revenue climbing 18% to $1.8 million from the matching quarter in 2012. Also first quarter operated at break-even against established trend of weak Q1 performances. At the end of the quarter, TransGaming teamed with Phillips to provide world's first video ad-supported games service on Smart TV.

Yamana Gold (T.YRI, StockForum) reports third quarter results with a considerable drop in revenue at $456.7 million from $611.8 from 2012 third quarter. Mine operating earnings plummeted also, landing at $144 million from the matching 2012 figure of $279.2 million. Cost of sales only dropped slightly from $231.7 million in 2012 to $213.6 million as did depletion, depreciation, amortization expenses slipping from $101 million in 2012 to $99.1 million.

Genworth MI Canada (T.MIC, StockForum) opens books on third quarter with a net operating income of $91 million or $0.99 per diluted share – 2% lower quarter-to-quarter. However, year-to-year comparison of net income reveals a 13% increase from the matching quarter in 2012 and net operating income was 12% or $10 million higher compared to that same period.


Ivernia (T.IVW, StockForum) reports third quarter results with revenue coming in at $37.2 million and gross profit totaling $12.5 million. Net profit after tax totaled $0.5 million and the company decided to switch functional currency at Australian subsidiaries to Australian dollars from US dollars.

Horizon North Logistics (T.HNL, StockForum) hits record third quarter with a 24% rise on revenue from $119,910 to $157,361, while the first nine months reported a total revenue of $445,746. Owned access mat fleet also grew 34% or 4,965 mats from the matching quarter in 2012, closing the quarter with a total of 19,630 mats.

Timmins Gold (T.TMM, StockForum) reveals Q3 results with metal revenues pulling in $38.1 million – a 9% drop over Q3 2012's figure of $41.7 million. Operations profit sank over 50% to $9.3 million compared to last year's Q3 total of $19.2 million. Quarterly earnings also fared poorly as Q3 2013 reported $4.8 million or $0.03 per share versus $13.7 million or $0.09 per share for 2012's matching quarter.

MGM Energy (T.MGX, StockForum) gives financial results for the quarter and nine months with a quarterly net loss of $3 million or $0.01 per share. Total assets dropped over the nine month period, landing at $78.849 million from 2012's figure of $84.524 million. The company only generated $500,000 in revenue through rental income during that period.

Ballard Power Systems (T.BLD, StockForum) shows third quarter results with revenue for the quarter jumping 65% to $17 million versus the matching quarter in 2012. Gross margin also improved 16 points while EBITDA had a healthy 86% jump to $0.9 million. Quarter results were attributed to product sales, engineering services and licensing.

Stream Oil & Gas (V.SKO, StockForum) reports third quarter results with a 19% drop in revenue to $7.2 million from $8.9 million for the same quarter in 2012. Operating income funds grew to $6.1 million from $5.6 million in 2012. Net operating income dropped however to $3.9 million from $5.7 million from the matching quarter in 2012.

Cangene (T.CNJ, StockForum) opens books on year-end financial results with total revenue amounting to $127.3 million – a 13% rise from $111 million from 2012 year-end. There was a $5 million decline in biopharmaceutical sales, while net income improved over the year to $1.4 million – a dramatic increase from last year's net loss of $28.3 million.


Primary Energy Recycling (T.PRI, StockForum) releases third quarter results with revenues up almost 3% from 2012 quarterly totals of $13.66 million to $14.05 million. Operating income plummeted into the red by $101,000 from 2012's matching quarter total of $1.193 million. Both free cash flow and net cash jumped with free flow reporting in at $5.319 million and net cash totaling $7.885 million.


OceanaGold (T.OGC, StockForum) reports third quarter results with revenues of $156.6 million bringing in a net profit of $43.7 million – a complete reversal from the previous quarter's net loss of $76.3 million. Gold and copper production weighed in at 74,697 ounces and 6,150 ounces respectively for the quarter.


Maple Leaf Foods (T.MFI, StockForum) releases third quarter results with decreased adjusted earnings for the quarter totaling $18.6 million from 2012's quarterly figure of $47.9 million. Year-to-date adjusted operating earnings came in at $12 million, a disappointing drop from last year's matching period of $102.3 million. Year-to-date adjusted earnings per share were a net loss, being reported at $0.25 compared to positive $0.25 per share recorded in the matching period of 2012.


Cipher Pharmaceuticals (T.DND, StockForum) opens books on third quarter to show a revenue increase of $5.6 million from $2.1 million in the matching quarter of 2012. Net income was reported at $3.4 million or $0.14 per share compared to last years Q3 totals of $0.08 million or $0.03 per share while cash balance increased to $20 million from $17.8 million recorded last quarter.
