Scalable cloud-based video production solution provider SoMedia Networks (
TSX:V.VID,
Stock Forum) appear to be hitting a rich vein in reseller sign-up, with the company announcing that they have 4000+ reseller partners.
That number is a 463% jump, according to the company, over the figures on January 1, 2013, and a 688% increase since this time last year.
“SoMedia’s continued growth in partner signups is clear evidence of video’s emerging position as the most desirable online marketing tool and our unique position as the only provider of video production resale solutions,” said company founder and CEO George Fleming in a news release. “We continue to see considerable pent up demand for a video production solution by web marketers.”
SoMedia's video production, marketing and analytics platform allows people marketing online to tap into professional video production without any knowledge of production or editing. The video platform uses SoMedia’s ScalableVideo production services, an online video creation platform (VideoBuilder), and ROI analytics.
Fleming sees support for future growth in industry stats.
“Supporting our experience is a recent report from the Content Marketing Institute that revealed that while 72% of small business marketers are using video 64% find producing enough content to be a challenge. eMarketer also reported that 64% of brand marketers intend to spend more on video this year.”
SoMedia has a $12.94 million market cap on 25 million shares outstanding.
