The 12 planes have a list price of $563 million, if all are purchased by the unidentified customer.
The deal was signed at the Singapore Airshow.
Earlier Tuesday, the Bombardier formally inaugurated a new full-scale service centre at the Seletar airport, part of the company's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
It also announced a letter of intent to establish a training centre for pilots of Bombardier's Q400 NextGen propeller-driven passenger planes.
Under the initiative, Bombardier would provide support for aircraft training activities and its authorized provider of turboprop pilot training, Flight International, would supply and operate a full flight simulator.
The training centre would be set up with the support of Nantong Tongzhou Bay Aviation in China's Jiangsu province.
