Stockhouse Canadian Small and Micro-cap Stock Report for Wednesday, November 20, 2013 VANCOUVER (SHfn) –
Cordoba Minerals Corp. (
TSX: V.CDB,
Stock Forum) was up 17% to 62 cents. The stock is reacting to news the mineral explorer reported that a significant copper and gold porphyry discovery has been drilled by privately held Sabre Metals at the San Matias project in Cordoba, Colombia. As announced on August 1, 2013, Cordoba Minerals signed a binding agreement to consolidate the 26,000-hectare San Matias project by acquiring Sabre, with closing anticipated early 2014. The initial four short drill holes tested mineralization below robust geochemical anomalies and artisanal workings and all intersected high-grade copper-gold porphyry mineralization, including 101.10 metres at 1.0% copper and 0.65 grams per tonne gold.
Enterprise Group, Inc. (
TSX: T.E,
Stock Forum) rose 2.5% to 81 cents before closing unchanged at 79 cents after the construction services company accepted a term sheet presented by PNC Bank Canada Branch (PNC) to increase its current senior secured finance facility from $20 million to $35 million at the existing interest rate of prime plus 2.0%. The finance facility increase is subject to final due diligence of a planned strategic acquisition. Further to the existing terms, PNC has also agreed to the corporation's 2014 capital expenditure program at $12 million. This capital expenditure increase will facilitate the aggressive growth plan to meet the demand for the services of Enterprise's business units.
Kaminak Gold Corp. (
TSX: V.KAM,
Stock Forum) lost 2.1% to 47 cents as investors assessed the news that exploration-stage company has delineated extensions of shallow oxide gold mineralization on the Coffee gold project, Yukon Territory, linking the Supremo T5 and T7 zones. Drilling identified a new structure - the 'T5 Splay' - with strike extent of at least 450 metres trending northeast from the southern section of the T5 zone. Drilling also extended T7 up to 400 metres southwards along strike where it appears to intersect or merge with the T5 Splay. The total strike length of the Supremo T5 and T7 gold zones are 1.7 kilometres and 950 metres respectively. Drilling highlights of the T5 Splay include over 12.19 metres grading 6.23 grams per tonne gold and over 4.57 metres of 5.7 grams per tonne gold.
Aldrin Resource Corp. (
TSX: V.ALN,
Stock Forum) lost 10% to nine cents after the resource company announced the commencement of a ground gravity geophysical survey on the Triple M property in northern Saskatchewan. Aldrin's Triple M uranium property is located adjacent to and southwest of
Fission Uranium Corp. (
TSX: V.FCU,
Stock Forum) and
Alpha Minerals Inc.’s (
TSX: V.AMW,
Stock Forum) Patterson Lake discovery property. The ground gravity survey is designed to highlight extensively altered basement rocks associated with Aldrin's already identified bedrock conductive anomalies.
