Pure Energy Minerals (TSX-V:PE,StockForum), a Vancouver-based firm engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties, soared 125% to $0.045 after announcing the execution of a non-binding memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) with POSCO, a Republic of Korea firm and one of the largest steel manufacturers in the world.

Coral Gold Resources (TSX-V:CLH,StockForum), a Vancouver-based firm engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties with claims in Nevada and California, climbed 51.52% to $0.25 after announcing that the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Coral Resources signed a JV agreement with Barrick Exploration and Barrick Gold (TSX:ABX,StockForum).

Mason Graphite (TSX-V:LLG,StockForum), a Montreal-based mining firm engaged in exploring and developing its Lac Gueret graphite property located in northeastern Quebec, gained 20.00% to $0.90 after receiving positive coverage from investor icon Jim Rogers, co-founder of the Quantum Fund.

PRD Energy (TSX-V:PRD,StockForum), a Calgary-based development stage firm engaged in seeking farm-in arrangements with various oil & gas operators in Europe, dumped 28.23% to $0.89 after releasing initial flow rates from the Boerger 7A horizontal well.
