Reliant Gold (TSX-V:REC, StockForum) skyrocketed 180% to 7 cents Monday after the Toronto-based mineral exploration firm said it had agreed to the terms of a joint venture agreement with Probe Mines Ltd. (TSX: V.PRB, Stock Forum) in regards to the Borden Lake South Property located in Chapleau, Ontario.
According to the news release, Reliant and Probe will have 49% and 51% interest respectively with Probe making a $200,000 cash payment with an issuance of 100K common shares of Probe to Reliant.
Robex Resources (TSX-V:RBX, StockForum) rose 4.3% to 24 cents. The Quebec City-based junior mining exploration and development firm operating in Mali and Western Africa, provided an update today to the Nampala South Zone with a 41% increase to indicated resource compared to inferred resource.
According to the news release, the average depth of drilling in the oxide layer of the South Zone was 71 metres with the new calculation observing a total of 108,400 ounces of indicated resource versus the 77,000 ounces of indicated resource announced in the 2013 calculation.
