North American PalladiumLtd. (TSX:PDL, StockForum) fell 17.6% to 44.5 cents Monday after the Toronto-based metals producer announced its preliminary palladium production results for the quarter ending March 31, 2014.
According to the news release, the company continues to move ahead with ramping up production through the shaft with underground production for the quarter averaging approximately 3,065 tonnes per day which is above operating guidance for the first half of the year.
Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. (TSX:SUO, StockForum) tumbled 7% to 14 cents. The Calgary-based firm engaged in the evaluation and development of oil properties for bitumen production in the Athabasca Oilsands, announced the company's strategic financial plans for Q2 2014.
According to the news release, the company is actively progressing focused initiatives to obtain financing to re-start construction on its first West Ells 10,000 bbl/d commercial Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (“SAGD”) project.
