Naturally SplendidEnterprises Ltd. (TSX: V.NSP, Stock Forum) rose 7.5% to 28.5 cents Tuesday. The company moved to solidify its footprint in the world emerging legal cannabinoid market when the company announced today that its American unit, Naturally Splendid Enterprises, had signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Full Spectrum Laboratories (FSL) based in Dublin, Ireland, to license FSL's cannabinoid extraction and patented formulation technologies.
According to the news release, the license would provide Naturally Splendid USA with global rights to a combination of advanced cannabinoid technologies, including the first issued USPTO patent for water-soluble cannabinoids, integral to the development and production of cannabinoid-based nutraceutical and pharmaceutical products and therapies.
