True Gold Mining Inc. (
TSX: V.TGM,
Stock Forum) rose 10% to 22 cents Tuesday after the company said it has resumed activity at its Karma Gold Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
True Gold said in a press release it remains fully funded through construction to first gold pour, which is expected in March 2016.
Saturn Minerals Inc. (
TSX: V.SMI,
Stock Forum) tumbled 27% to 16.5 cents after the company updated the market on results from its operated 9-5 Bannock Creek exploration well in northeast Saskatchewan. Drilling commenced there on May 12, 2015.
“As a result of the technical problems encountered, the company has decided to abandon the current well and is considering its options, which includes drilling an additional well at the location,’’
the company said in a press release.
