Zaio Corp. (
TSX: V.ZAO,
Stock Forum) rose 1.8% to 28 before closing unchanged at 27.5 cents Tuesday after the company said it has received the 2014 audited financial statements of Valuation Vision, LLC and all other necessary requirements.
The asset purchase is scheduled to close on May 29, 2015, the company said.

Intertainment Media Inc. (
TSX: V.INT,
Stock Forum) traded as high as 5 cents in active trading and closed at 4.5 cents. The company said it has signed a non-binding letter of intent with its language technology services partner Yappn Corp. The moves comes after Yappn offered to purchase key assets of Intertainment’s Ortsbo Inc. subsidiary,
Yappn said in a press release.
They include a patent, proprietary language services technology assets, know-how related to Ecommerce and Customer Care and business contracts for a total purchase price of US$17 million. The terms of the deal include the transfer of up to US$1 million in debt and US$16 million in Yappn equity.
VentriPoint Diagnostics Ltd. (
TSX: V.VPT,
Stock Forum) dropped 15.4% to 5.5 cents. The company said it has received marketing clearance from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration for the expanded use of its VMS Heart analysis system.
Previously VMS was limited in use on adults with known pulmonary arterial hypertension, which is newly diagnosed in approximately 200,000 individuals each year in the U.S. Now VMS can be used on the more than 20 million people that suffer from heart disease,
the company said in a press release.
