Shopify (TSX: SH, Forum) experienced a mysterious bump in the market today on no news. The company published a press release one day ago indicating it was going to host a conference call and webcast regarding the results from its Q2 2015.
According to the
news release, the conference call is to take place on July 30, 2015 at 8:30 am EST.
Shares were up 10.26% to $41.90 per share.
Cipher Pharmaceuticals (TSX: CPH, Forum) also experienced a mysterious SP increase today when the last news the company had released was back in the middle of June announcing that the company was to present at the 2015 JMP Securities Life Sciences Conference at the end of June.
Stockhouse bullboards for the company lit up with
bullboarders arguing whether the bump was the result of market manipulation or honest investor interest.
Shares were up 10.06% to $11.71 per share.
