Shopify (TSX: SH, Forum) saw a significant bump in SP today after the company announced that it had been selected by online retail giant Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN, Forum) as the preferred migration provider for Amazon Webstore merchants.
According to the
news release, the company is also providing said merchants with tools and services for business growth and easy integration of Amazon offerings such as Login and Pay with Amazon, Fulfillment by Amazon and Selling on Amazon.
Shares were up 24.05% to $47.25 per share.
Pure Energy (TSX: V.PE, Forum) lit up the Stockhouse Bullboards yesterday when it was discovered that the junior miner developing the Clayton Valley lithium project in Nevada had signed a lithium deal with Tesla Motors (NASDAQ: TSLA, Forum) as the electric car manufacturer powers up to build its much-anticipated gigafactory. Oddly enough there wasn’t much movement, but this morning it was different story.
Investors seemed to be selling into the news and SP dropped on huge volume. The project is still in its early stages, but many longs and industry analysts believe the project potential will bring in the money necessary to take Clayton Valley into lucrative commercial production so that it can meet the obligations of its 5-year supply deal with Tesla.
Shares were down 10.00% to $0.72 per share.
